Young people look for the disappeared son of the major of an imaginary city in the slum, where different vulnerable groups live separately. During their investigation they meet vulnerable people and find different traces. They recognize that these people are innocent and the mayor is guilty. By the tools of commonsense, democracy and social media they ecome active citizens initiating solution. In the interactive game they experience the values of democracy and danger of authoritarian regimes.

Young people don’t have personal experience regarding the dangers of authoritarian regimes, they hardly meet the members of vulnerable groups. They like games, which ensure them the experience of common action of citizens and indirect information and sensitization regarding the values of democracy.
1 interactive, socially responsible detective game with the involvement of 4 and detective game professionals will target 1000 young people, inform and sensitize them. They become more conscious, active and responsible citizens engaged to democracy and diversity. 100.000 media users are reached.
Involve and prepare the vulnerable groups, detective game professionals for the designing and realization of the detective game focusing on democracy and diversity in an indirect, interactive, experience based way. Inform students and schools, organize games, where they can be active participants in investigators’ groups. Discussion with the participants afterwards regarding their experiences and their connections to their real life. Evaluation and communication of the game and its results.
Detective games are perfect tools for developing consciousness and active citizenship of young people. The group decisions of groups of investigators model the functioning of democracy well. The indirect methodology can make popular the democracy. Vulnerable groups can be undderstood by encounters.
We target 1000 young students and gamers, who are more interested in games than in democracy. By their involvement in our games, they get informed and sensitized regarding the issues of democracy, and the values of diverse Europe together with the danger of passive citizenship in an indirect way.
I would like to get feed back regarding the issues, topics, the game should focus on, further potential modules, which can be built in, and also suggestions regarding the recruitment of the participants and the evaluation and communication of the initiative.
