Systemic disadvantages that privilege one but oppress the other - nobody wants that. Women don't want to be discriminated against and frankly men do not want to hinder their self-expression either. Some systemic injustices are based on the lack of awareness. Through sensitizing to each other's day-to-day experiences with either privilege or oppression through empathic dialogues in safe spaces, people are enabled to understand their partaking in social injustices and take action if they want to.
Berlin and online
Equal access to opportunities is a pillar of democracy. Through supporting citizens in gaining self awareness of their social role and empathizing with other positions we promote education and a desire for promoting social justice. We incubate ideas on solving day-to-day systemic disadvantaging.
We will organise workshops all over Europe where underrepresented individuals and privileged individuals can learn about each other's experience and gain a new sensitivity which during our workshops results in many ideas for improving systemic and everyday discrimination presented on our website.
We use human-centered design and apply it during our workshops namely through teaching the participants how to use this innovation method to tackle tricky problems. Through empathy and non violent dialogues we offer unique opportunities for participants to see the world from another perspective and feel the problems other people face. We plan to acquire more partners and expand from the male female binary to non binary and not only gender related inequalities. We will also offer online videos
There are a bunch of gross things that are normalised in our society, the one angering me most is sexism. If we do not talk to each other about how we experience it, men to men, women to men, women to women, we will continue arguing even about its existence even though no one wants to perpetuate it.
For everybody who feels marginalized and underrepresented, social groups who face difficulties accessing opportunities
And economic disadvantages and for privileged people in power positions who crave social change (less right wing voting) and a democracy that honors the principle of human dignity.
On the target group and on the pitch :) thank youuuu
