The project is a network of online video platforms, each one established in a country of the region and supported by its national film agency, and each one carrying every available, significant film that constitutes the country’s past and future cinema heritage. This unique, modular, online video library, in which all platforms are linked, will allow cultural and educational institutions throughout the region direct access to any film carried on any platform.
It is an educational and research tool designed to enable audiences in Eastern Europe, from an early age and throughout their lives, to come to regard the cinema of the whole region as their native cinema. Greater mutual awareness among countries will lead to easier co-operation in film making and easier acceptance by audiences of cultures that are different and yet familiar. Secondary goal opening the platform with a low transactional fee for consumers, we address the reducing of film piracy
We are aiming for a beta release in about 12 months from current date. This would be possible only with the covered finance for the further development with research from legal and technical point of view in order to move forward for next step in financing, that is accessing each national film agency fund to develop each country module.
With being selected we will most likely keep to our schedule and be able to cover this early phase expenses.
In the next 6 moths we will build a working group based on the film funds/agencies representatives, legal consultants and VOD aggregators researching all the legal and technical issues.
For the seconds phase we will pursue developing the model and the steps of implementing in the pilot number of countries depending on each state's own dynamic.
Third phase lunching the platform in a 3 months beta testing.

At this moment, Europe is converging to an unified digital territory, it is a result mostly coming out of economical reasons. Out of the 28 EU countries, the small territories rarely find the opportunity to speak together. This projects is a practical way for the national film agency to have a pro active position and contribute to a better digital society by facilitating the creation of a online video library. This is the very best way to offer options, to provide relevant artistic works.
