The general objective is : to make known the refugees reality. The specific objectives are: to learn more about the refugees culture; to learn to communicate constructively in different environments; to understand the needs of refugees people; to learn each other through active participation; to develop the sense of initiative, self-esteem and entrepreneurial creativity; to promote a better and full integration of the individual in social and economic context.
What is the European Citizenship? To feel European, the refugees must become aware of the fact that they play a role in the construction of the current and future Europe. Therefore, a project with a European dimension should not only "discover" Europe, but also and most importantly, aim to build it.
Refugees people can feel European citizens like other people withought of discrimination, rasism, xenophobia. They will be enccourged to exprime their feelings, their stories, their ideas.
Outcome: Documentary film with intervews of refugees.The people from Europe will understand better them and they could help them to be integrated in their countries after the documentary will be presentated at the international festival at Berlin. Will be changed the mentality of European people about refugees.
We'll contact the centers where the refugees are living, we'll propose them to be confident with us telling their stories. After this we'll do the intervews with them with our technical team. The intervews will be the support of a documentary film with the title of the project.
Target group : refugees people.
Beneficiaries: the peolple, stakeholders, local institutions, associations from Italy where the refugees are living.
Audience: the people from all Europe. We want to participate at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The documentary film will discover the emotions, the feelings, the sufferences of refugees and the Italian and European people who will see it will understand that they must haven't pregiudice regarding the refugees and will be awareness how lucky they are living in Europe where the life conditions give them the ensurence to live in peace. They will apreciate more the liberty, the peace and they will help refugees to feel at home in Europe.
Travel costs for the technical team of documentary film: 7000 Euro
