InterEuropean Human Aid Association Germany e.V.
The idea of the IHA is to provide humanitarian aid for migrants from war zones in regions with demand for immediate action – fast and non-bureaucratic. For this purpose IHA supports and optimizes the willingness of the (European) population to help - with
on-site volunteers and donations.
The IHA is working on making sure that every refugee travelling up the Balkan route is sufficiently equipped for the journey. With adequate clothes, food, and medical care - wherever a lack is, IHA fills it up.
IHA aims to continue the work on a professional basis to alleviate humanitarian aid for refugees: rapid and non-bureaucratic – depending where aid is mostly needed and where a positive impact can be made.
IHA is actively focussing and directing voluntary support to regions where immediate support is needed. So the power of volunteers action can be bundled. IHA accompanies volunteers – before, during and after their field work. IHA is in a position to rapidly set up infrastructure, and support the development of camp management strategies and structures within refugees centres. IHA can react rapidly to new developments and
address any shortfalls.
We are doing it for all the refugees coming to Europe seeking Asylum.
IHA’s areas of action are constantly adapted to the current needs and developments. This includes aid along the refugee routes, as well as support for longer term integration into receiving societies. Current aid efforts contain all relevant needs – from the coordination of volunteers on-site, to the development of camp infrastructure with tents, kitchens, electricity and sufficient supply with foot, medications and clothing – depending on a case by case basis adapted to the local needs
