Center for Development of Students' Initiatives
Build a dream country cooperating with youth civil activists!
All festival participants become residents of a game country with its' own politic and economic systems where they can choose any role: politician, NGO activist, journalist or entrepreneuer.
At the moment we are faced with a huge Russian propaganda which has a great influence on Belarus. All democratic communities understands that we are loosing in this fight and if Russian invaders come to Belarus, people will meet them with flowers.
We afraid of this and realise that now is the moment when all the democratic forces should work together making big innovative projects to resist the propaganding machine.
That's why our idea is that fresh thing that we can add to joint work for democracy in Belarus.
It can't be held nowhere abroad Belarus, because this will not have any sense: our idea is work for democratization in Belarus living here. However we will be glad to invite guests from every country to participate as experts :)
We hope that our project will have a great influence on the youth civil society. So after a year we expect:
- no less than 1 youth candidate in local community (city or region level);
- no less than 5 new journalists in independent media;
- no less than 20 new volunteers in NGO;
- no less than 5 new projects from participants in the shpere of promoting democratic values;
- no less than 1 business start-up in the shpere of social entrepreneurship;
- a mass campaing of resisting violations during the presidential elections (200 volunteers, 1000 successful cases )
All of this will help to strengthen the democratic youth community and create an creative and friendly atmosphere which will help to promote democratic values and consolidate the youth.
