Youth talks to Youth !

Why does Europe need your idea?

Europe cannot only be built by technocrats, Europe will not be built without the consent of its citizens. Young, we are the one who will have to live within the EU framework, and we are the one that institutions do not know how to involve in political participation. Europe does need that youth speaks to youth and experience European debate in order to get involved in the European integration.
Europe needs to be lived by its citizens. Creating a pan-European media where the public (youth) is the contributor, is a way for young to experience European exchange and to open their mind. This project participates in the creation of the European generation, active, tolerant and respective of other cultures.

What is your impact?

As we want to involve more and new young people from all across Europe in the debate, a successful outcome would be :
1. Reaching more than 250 000 readers a month.
2. Increasing by 2 the number of contributors.
3. Increasing by 1,5 the number of regular contributors.
4. Developing the partnership with other medias, republish and getting republished to facilitate the circulation of ideas, organize a communal event with other European medias.
5. Distributing 15 000 printed version of Le Taurillon.

How do you get there?

1.Actions: working with a web-designer to the renovation of the website, working with a graphist to create visual and videos to be promoted on Facebook and to set up the design of the paper version, contacting medias and organising the meeting of youth with other media
2.Organisation: the project will be coordinated by les Jeunes Européens with the 5 editors-in-chief, a civic service will work on the project, a lot of volunteers.
3.Finances: we already have looked for sponsors and financial partners
4.Agenda :
Summer 2015 : renovation of the website
September : event with contributors and other media in Brussels
September-October : communication campaign on Facebook
September-October : publication and distribution of the printed version
