Idea Sketch

Idea pitch

We believe that the best way to combat stereotypes and prejudices and to empower young women is to provide inspiring role models and demonstrate how they can take an active stand. We would like to launch the school of leadership for young women from post soviet countries with a focus on women coming from rural communities.

Where will your idea take place?

Ukraine (Odessa), Armenia (Yerevan )

Why does Europe need your idea?

Modern Europe is extremely diverse in terms of women leadership, but the core narrative should remains clear and rely on gender parity. It is important to spread this narrative as a part of democratic transitions in Europe.

What is your impact?

We would like to help young women to create a personal and professional network they can leverage in their future carriers, to transform their experiences into effective social and business projects.

How do you get there?

We would like to organize four-five days intense leadership schools for women in Yerevan and in Odessa. Each “school curriculum” will be comprised of number of activities.
First, we plan to deliver psychological leadership trainings for young women.
Then we going to invite speakers from East Europe and EU to share their success stories in order to reveal how they deal with gender stereotypes.Eventually we would like to train women in order to develop their own businesses or social projects.

What is your story?

Our organizations are focusing on strengthening democracy through education and empowerment. We would be happy if this partnership contributes the strengthening of gender balanced society where women and man equally enjoy political, economical and cultural benefits, and share responsibilities.

Who are you doing it for?

We would like to empower young women at the early stages at their careers irrespective to their field. We demonstrate a preference for women coming from rural communities.
