WanderEurope is an exploration that documents Europe as a wonderful geographical and socio-cultural space as it depicts- through the eyes of European youngsters- 50 unique and traditional celebrations across Europe.
WanderEurope a refreshing and stimulating project of a journey that grabs people's imagination and presents Europe following the interests of the European youth in present society. This project uniquely portrays Europe across geographical, generational, linguistic or cultural boundaries, exactly the characteristics of the unique dimensions of traditional celebrations. European citizens may not like the EU, but what they do know is that Europe is a diverse and fascinating continent, waiting to be explored by way of travel, work, Erasmus or, at the very least – vicariously through their online engagement; WanderEurope is unique in its approach- an innovative and positive idea that could be used by many sectors and organisations to reach the European youth. Let’s show our Europe!
WanderEurope aims to become a European-wide, participatory creative project that is made following the input of European citizens. Followers of the project will get to know and appreciate Europe at the lowest level. It turns the spotlight, including free advertisement, to unique European celebrations and corresponding traditions and gives the European youth a voice. Persons, organisations, movements, associations, cities etc. are all invited to get involved. This project is expected to reach a minimum of 10,000 Europeans, while the snowball effect of such online project could potentially lead to a far bigger output and reach. Finally, the spillover effect of the project is gigantic; considering similar follow-up projects, side-project etc.
June-August 2015: Three months of full-time preparation (registration of organisation and planning of itinerary): confirm the 50 celebrations (as identified by my national contact points) spread over Europe on a 12-month calendar; finding of partner organisations, synergies and collaborations with e.g. cities, regions, organisers of festivities, European umbrella organisations, youth organisations; working with a graphic designer on design logo, integrated website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; print 10.000 flyers/posters for on the road advertisement; purchase equipment.
September 2015 – August 2016: implementation of the project; a twelve month journey following the set itinerary of 50 celebrations.

I would like to broaden my network and I’m open for collaboration and partnerships; find interested (inter- or trans)national organisations; local partners; interested people who would like to brainstorm and assist with the implementation of this project.
