EcoLab Foundation for Sustainable Development and Active Citizenship
We are individuals and representatives of 3 organizations who have previously collaborated on different projects and would like to further expand the mutually-beneficial collaboration.
Across Europe, post-industrial spaces have been abandoned or exploited by private interests in unsustainable and non participatory ways with long-term negative effects. In response, we want to explore the question of: How can post-industrial spaces be transformed in a participatory multistakeholder process to benefit the communities? Our plan is to initiate a collective inquiry followed up by an intervention of reclaiming one such space for community use in a participatory and sustainable way.
