Spring Water next to the Road
Vlasenica, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Tivat, Montenegro
Travelling is a unique way to meet other people, to get a realistic idea about other world than your own. We want to bring fresh, directly from the nature, water, as a symbol of unity, pure emotions and caring love.
Therefore, project has a clear pan European character and thus is implementing into practice values that “Advocate Europe” stands for.
This advocate will speak up for the different countries and human beings, for the all travelers from other countries and for the nature.
With the project “Spring Water Roads” we aim to achieve a set of results:
1. preserving water resources in our local surrounding. Also travelers will have information about free refreshment in every county covered by the project. Water will be continuously monitored by local health inspection.
2. presentation and promotion of a local community. Every fresh water spring, in this project, will have info panels. On this way, travelers will be offered by a set of useful information about the region
3.promotion of a pan European network of fresh water springs alongside main roads in Europe. Travelers can plan their routes according to the position of the rest points with the springs. Also, we will promote cross cultural awareness
1. stage is to gather relevant information about the springs and mapping of them with description and photos. After this stage we will have enough details to make selection and decide which of these springs will be revitalized in the first round.
2. stage will be work on decorative revitalization, of some selected springs. We will prepare design for the springs, for the sitting area and for the info panels. We will also organize the workers and engage some local workshops for producing the panels, trash cans etc.
3.stage will involve creation of web based portal with integrated map of fresh water springs on the road of Europe. This will be supplemented by a mobile phone application to lead the travelers
4.stage is to explore other European countries as well and complete the map
