What is Europe actually? Is it a geographic border, a cultural identity, a coalition of states? Solidarity and competition, cooperation and egoism - how are they implemented in the idea of a political Europe. 15 Teenagers gather around a table covered with a map of Europe as tablecloth and become part of a performance in a classroom, that interweaves personal stories and the political mechanisms of Europe. How much Europe is in us all?
Berlin, Germany and Athens, Greece
The show playfully combines the abstract idea of Europe with the privacy of a classroom, trying to raise awareness for Europe as a political and identical unit. The show combines narration regarding the pupils own life and questions dealing with both the history as well as the concept of the EU.
After creating the SCHOOL VISITS with the help and creative input of young people in Berlin and Athens a success would to reach as many pupils as possible, who will have made intellectual and emotional experiences during the show, that they’ll carry along.

Pupils, age 14-18, at secondary schools all over Europe. The idea is to provide the piece to delegates from several classes throughout a certain framework that permits a social experience with the piece outside of the own classroom and friends.
Feedback on our idea, creative exchange and productive cristicism are always welcome.
