Our idea based on creating an internet platform which will be a base of the most necessary information about Poland, directed at Ukrainian who have been already staying in our country but also to them who are planning to come. The base will contain the most necessary information which may come in useful during beginning of studying or working in Poland. It will cover a date about the job market, health care, insurances, official issues, a way of transport etc.
Many of Ukrainian, when they come to Poland, don’t know where to live, what is the cost of renting a room, which documents are essential for them, to which bureau they should go if they want to get some suitable information, where they can find legal work – one place which can give them these information, will make their adaptation to new environment easier.
The main goal is to make access to information, important in perspective of finding a legal job which provides for family which has stayed in the Ukraine, easier. Moreover thanks to this project we would like to increase the European awareness and sensitivity of eastern European problems.
At first stage computer scientists create an internet platform, on which they release information which are necessary for free function foreigner in Poland. Next we deal with spread an idea of project (Internet, social media, universities, leaflets, posters) among Polish students who within the framework of volunteering will create their profile on this platform. It will inform about range of their help which they can offer. We involve also our familiar students from the Ukraine and thanks to them, we will reach Ukrainians who live and work in our country or these who want to come.
Cooperating volunteers will help in organization events which promote Ukrainian culture.
The program is directed to immigrants from the Ukraine who come to Poland in search of better living conditions, thanks to employment in Polish job market or education at Polish universities.
This project does not focus on passive help, but sends an impulse to the youth of Poland to act, while encouraging Ukrainian people to cooperate and integrate with Poland, as well as, in further perspective, other countries on the continent.
