Institution for social innovations "Talaka.by"
➤ The successful development of cities, countries and Europe can not take place without the participation of those for whom this development is doing - without citizens.
➤ Citizens have both an incredible amount of information about problem areas, and ideas and expertise to solve them.
➤ That is why we develop our platform (http://talaka.by), as we believe that citizens must actively participate in the improving their life around (through real deeds and not just tips).
➤ A lot of people have no interest in solving common challenges, they become individualistic and self-centered. This leads to the fact that politicians, city administrations and companies have started to make decisions without regard to the citizens.
➤ Many people don’t really believe in the possibility of change, both at the city and country levels.
➤ For active people it is hard to gather like-minded people, that will participate by their deeds, not via posts and likes at Facebook.
➤ Horizontal network of activists, initiatives, NGOs, social/creative entrepreneurs will be expanding and become international.
➤ Number of successfully implemented projects goes up consistently by efforts of citizens.
➤ Online-platform will be developed as an open source tool for communication, cooperation and implementation of important projects by mutual efforts of citizens.
➤ Financial sustainability of the horizontal network and the platform will be achieved for further development.
➤ Development of the platform.
For discussing, mutually implementing projects, attracting financing and maintaining relations with stakeholders; making a place of accumulation of resources and experise, collecting successful cases for using in another areas.
➤ Strengthening of the community.
We see that a network of initiatives exists with a goal on improving Europe. To achieve it we need to continue helping to implement socially important projects in a wide variety of areas and cities.
➤ Awareness-building efforts.
Info-campaigns will help to promote collabarative values, make the civil society more productive in their work.
➤ Support of initiatives in their endeavors.
➤ Methodical and research work.
➤ Making the horizontal network and the platform sustainable.
➤ Main target group is citizens who want to implement projects (both the authors of the projects as well as specialists who are ready to participate in the project).
There are a number of stakeholders:
➤ City administration (they can see the social needs and support the citizens who solve its)
➤ CSR companies
➤ Organizations conducting contests of ideas and projects (such as Advocate Europe)
➤ Foundations and social investors
➤ NGOs who actively works with citizens
➤We know about attempts of others to create services for search teams for the projects (most were closed, and the remaining US projects are more like dating sites) and projects for the collective (crowdsourcing) doing non-online projects (all reshaped simply to crowdfunding).
➤In the era when content rules (posts and likes in Facebook) we create a platform as we say of "real action", where it is important what you do, not what you write.
➤The platform is in fact aims to link online to offline.
