Slobozhansky Resource Center
The project raises questions about the current situation and the prospects for the integration of refugees in Ukraine and the rest of Europe. The project involves the creation of an online platform for the exchange of experience by government, local government agencies, NGOs from different countries who work with refugees.
Now both in Ukraine and in the European Union there is an acute problem of refugees. They often remain second-class citizens and can not integrate into the host society.
We offer to create an online platform for the exchange of experiences of the integration of refugees between representatives of municipal governments and non-profit sectors around the world (as a number of countries in Europe has positive experience in the integration of refugees). The aim is to cooperate to implement the best practices of integration of refugees to local communities.
- Create a platform for exchange of experiences;
- Establish an informal network of professionals specializing in refugee issues;
- Create a database of public models of effective integration of refugees;
- Create conditions for a more efficient reallocation of refugees between the municipalities in Ukraine.
Refugees, governments, NGOs.
Our project is a long-lasting. The created platform could then be transformed to a place, where governments and civil society can work on creating common strategies for solving various issues, not necessarily the issues related to refugees and IDPs.
