Idea pitch

An ongoing art project that aims to show people, that modern art can be beautiful and fun, and engage the local community in creating it, using the modern art tools - graffitis, instalations, performances, exhibitions etc. \We want our city, Lviv, to be a true art capital, full with art peaces. We consider the classic art to be a good base, and we push ourselfs off it instead of pressing against it.

Where will your idea take place?

Lviv, Ukraine

Why does Europe need your idea?

Lviv has a very shalow level of culture, that is far behind the countries of European Union, althoug geografically Lviv is in the center of Europe and Ukraine is in the process of joining the Union.

What is your impact?

We want to increase the cultural level of a local city community and city guests by introducing them to the modern art and engaging them in its creation

How do you get there?

For the project, we are going to use the participatory art principals, and introduce installations, flash-mobs, modern art exhibitions, performances to the local community.

What is your story?

Who are you doing it for?

On this stage we are doing it for the Lviv citizens, tourists and refugees from Crimea and the East of Ukraine, who moved from Russian-occupied territories and now live in Lviv.
