Idea pitch

Creative Partners is a simple free platform to help anyone in the arts, culture, heritage or creative industries find partners for trans-national activities - projects, tours, applications to EU funds, etc. Organisations can add their own listing(s), or search the database by a range of criteria. It is also open to organisations or individuals from outside Europe.

Why does Europe need your idea?

The difficulty many (especially smaller) arts & cultural organisations still have in finding partners - in spite of a disparate range of existing services (partly as all these operate within user-unfriendly restrictions and limitations)

What is your impact?

At least 500 listings, from all European countries (at least EU member states and eligible countries), and at least 25 actual partnerships developed as a result.

How do you get there?

Firstly, to forge partnerships with key networks and other agencies, secondly, to promote the service widely across Europe, thirdly, to undertake specific initiatives (e.g. presentations at key events) to encourage organisations & individuals to sign up, and the development of a newsletter / alert service to highlight recent listings and specific searches.

Who are you doing it for?

The arts, culture, heritage and creative industries sectors across Europe, especially smaller organisations and those in countries which face some problems in developing partnerships - this ranges from countries such as the UK to the countries of the Eastern Partnership region.

What makes your idea stand apart?

It is different because it is not tied to any artform or any theme or the EU or any EU or other funding programme. It it offers a uniquely flexible platform for all users - and allows for listings beyond Europe - there are already listings from Australia and Brazil.
