NGOs and HR organizations , will be verifiying data. As such, every HR organization globally, is a potential partner. We pitched the idea in UN executive meeting in Jordan, and in Brussels Press Club for HROs, and we have many partnership requests, already.
"No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile" Act 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This act is is not effective, mainly becuase it was almost impossible to collect all data of all prisoners.
We are making it possible.
FromPrison.com is a crowd sourcing platform for prisoners’ data and cases. The data is verified by NGOs, Supervised by UN.
Data analytics, statistics and actual legal data of thousands of cases can be made available, to stakeholders.
Gent or Brussels, Belgium
Human Rights organizations can file around 100 cases of arbitary detention per year. This means in countries with tens of thousands of detainees(Russia, Egypt, KSA,...) we need centeries to collect this data.
Our challenge, is to make this data available now, and verified. So that their stories would be told, and human rights organization can react. UN will have all relevant accurate statistics to asses the situation in the world.
The arbitrary detainees, will face easier imprisonment condition
We aim for making Act 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights effective: "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile".
We aim for making all data of detainees(Prison, detention details, status, cases against prisoner, duration, timeline,..) available.
We aim for making their voices heard, and lives protected.
We aim for measuring statistical data, that makes a "justice" measure in every country in the world.
By organizing an online platform, we aim to bring people together. People can submit cases of friends, relatives, acquaintances to the platform which can then be used as a database (crowdsourcing).
In an attempt to bring all cases as fast as possible online with a high credibility we try to work together with Human Rights Organizations. These last can verify with their experience and their methods the cases submitted online.
That platform can also be used by visitors as a means to track the stories, articles, legal procedures, decisions etc. of the detainees.
The platform will enable also a system to track all cases per region, city or country. That makes it easy for everyone to find the detainees which are located in their neighborhood.
Statistics can be collected as a consequence
For every prisoner worldwide who's a victim of arbitrary detention, arrest or exile
Where Human rights failed, we can solve an existing issue for collecting data of hundreds of thousands of humans, now. Only we can do that. HROs can't, UN can't.
We can measure a metric for justice, that will influence every single country, and political system.
Our impact is global, it influences lives of detainees, families and also justice and politics everywhere on earth.
We can finally make "Act 9" effective.
