Idea pitch

The truebarTour is a multimediaproduction involving artists of all partner countries to create a song in a mixed style of traditional storytelling and modern song. The song will give room and space for 100 european voices and symbolises the idea of europe home to so many great minds, soul and voices. It is a song that inspires through diversity and differences but unifies under the artistic rules of a musical composition and production.

Why does Europe need your idea?

the european countries have been facing a number of severe challanges in the last seven years. it is in these times that partners and beings have to proof strength and unity and the so called proof of concept. often it is difficult to keep the original idea on the horizon. but in arts these ideas are implemented and can be made visible and apprehendable in order to inspire again and submit strength, inspiration and social responsibilty.

What is your impact?

The composition and song will have manifested as a project that implements so many different elements in words, sounds, ideas and by thus has a form that is more like a symphony, i.e. about 20 minutes long but with the structures of a songwriting, telling stories within melodies. it shall inspire many people through established videos and making ofs. It shall show, that art can go beyond borders and create something new and exchange. People would listen and be open for different languages&style

How do you get there?

The production and recording session will take place for five months in various cities and places around europe. Additionally many musicians and storytellers will be able to add storylines, arrangements and sounds of their origin soundscape and artistic tradition via online production channels so that every partner has a chance to participate from the beaches of portugal to islands most northern capital in the world reykjavik, from bukarest to vilnius and so on.

Who are you doing it for?

this song and production is not limited to a special target group. a song, as it appears on a radio or in the net can adress people from very early age till late in the 90's or maybe a 100 year old, who has experienced a lot. it shall also adress a wide range of cultural communities with different backgrounds to present a project that is unifing and inspiring through diversity and inclusion.

What makes your idea stand apart?

we will implement thoughts, ideas and projects in the designing philosophy and storytelling of the composition. the storyline will be a result of many needs and wishes within the european communities but at the same time will be brought to an easy understanding in order to open up to rather distant communities. the song will be the musical output of a production that receives its sources and themes out of everyday life and ventures, social responsibilites and problems and be transformed in music
