STAGIAIRES SANS FRONTIERES
To answer the individual desire to commit to causes that matter and to bring to a new level cooperation between organizations at the local level, SSF reinvents work creating shared jobs between profit and non profit organizations. For a year we have been developing this model in France: interns spend at least 20% of their working time pro bono for a NGO that belongs to the eco-system of the company. Our plan is to develop the concept nationally then in all Europe, for Internships and for Jobs.
France and Europe
NGO need to attract skilled volunteers and reinforce their connection with the corporate world to develop their activity and innovate. Companies face the challenge to attract and retain individuals and are in need for innovative CSR policies.
Individuals/students want to pursue purpose through their work.
SSF is a simple and powerful means to address these individual and societal needs.
It is an innovative way to answer social and environmental challenges though cooperation.
Our goal is to allow anyone to commit for society while working. Through individuals, we reinvent the way organizations cooperate to tackle social challenges.
Today SSF has developped 30 shared internships in Ile de France & Nord.
A year from now, we aim to be national and have started shared jobs.
If selected, in a year we would be ready to scale following an open source model to spread the concept nationaly and then in all Europe, using a performing plateform and a follow-up program.
We 1st want to strenghten our activity in France before spreading all over Europe.
1 Improve our existing website to a 3 player plateform connecting the takeholders.
It will allow NGO to share their needs, interns/employees to choose their social impact mission and companies to publish their shared offers.
2 Create an online program to help the individuals succeed in their dual mission and strengthen the synergies between their 2 organizations.
The program will be composed of theorical content, exercices/advices and peer learning.
For that we will mobilize experts, create videos and toolkits. We have already started prototyping.
3 Raise awareness :
Spread the word to NGO, Students and Companies in Europe thanks to networks partnerships and marketing following our study case in Ile de Franc
Our beneficiaries are NGO’s / non-profit social business (in France: the Red Cross, Emmaüs, MakeSense..)
Our 2nd beneficiairies are interns that benefit from the dual experience (future employees)
Business beneficiaries are companies (In France: Danone, Accenture, SCOR, L’Occitane..). They attract and develop talents and reinforce their social impact in their ecosystem.
Our purpose is to progressively enlarge the n° of beneficiary through open source principles and community management.
Pro Bono has always existed but our concept is unique as it connects social impact with HR & open-innovation issues that companies are facing
Beyond pro bono, it creates real longer term connexion and fasten up hybridation
Interns and employees are fully paid by companies which are also paying SSF to develop the concept
So far we have developped our activity with a 100% self-financed model
It differs as we are the only one, for now, to develop this simple idea that can be spreaded out easily
