Issues Without Borders
Following the same set of guidelines we will draft 28 reports on the refugee issue in every single member state, analyzing the national legislation, the social life, interviews, the way media is depicting the topic, etc.
Once these 28 reports are ready we are doing to launch our petition and send it in 3 different places:
1. at a national level in all states
2. at the European Parliament
3. raise 1 000 000 signatures, passed it through the European Commission and launch a new EU Directive
We are working on creating a better legislation, thus a better life for Refugees in Europe.
Here we are talking about the legislation and its duration, family reunification, living conditions, employment opportunities in that country, education, basically a chance to a better life, without feeling discriminated and deprived of their human rights.
Europe would have a better legislation on the migration issue due to the fact that we plan to disseminate our reports, our research and promote our petition both at a national and at a European level. So everything will change for refugees from the moment they enter a territory to the moment they are fully accepted and start working there.
- writing the 28 reports for all the member states
-writing the petition with recommendations for each member state particularly and for the EU as a whole
-send the petition at a national level, in all these 28 member states
-send the petition directly to the EU Parliament so that they can debate it and vote it
-partner up with other organisations, lobby our cause, visit more refugee camps and spread awareness on our project
-register it at the European Commission, raise 1 000 000 signatures, pass it through the European Commission the end result being a new EU directive on migration
- being part of the implementation process of this EU directive in every single member state
- adding more stories to the website about refugees, testimonials, following up on EU policies and the impact
Our target group is represented by asylum seekers and refugees, they will benefit from our project, our project is made for them.
Our idea is challenging the biggest crisis of the European Continent, after second world war, a period of transition and change, when many talk about border controls in the Schengen space, quitting the EU, we are talking about working together and helping others integrate and making our continent an even better place.
Some of us have not met each other, the online voice is powerful, we are believers, we are creating change and most importantly we have started this journey with no money at all.
