Idea pitch

We intend to create online educational portal ‘Euro Education’ aimed at improving the legal literacy with focus on eurointegration and eurocommunity. We believe that such initiative would help to inculcate in young people european democratic values for building peaceful and harmonious society. ‘Euro Education’ is planned as an educational system, that composed of video lectures, tests, papers, infographics on topical issues conserning eurointegration and eurocommunity.

Why does Europe need your idea?

Ukrainians clearly declared their intention to become a part of european community, but only a small part of citizens is well acquainted with european values and the real path of eurointegrational process. As long as the cost of legal education in Ukraine remaines excessively high, we face the necessity to facilitate the role of public legal education in Ukraine

What is your impact?

We keen to provide comprehensive, up-to-date information on relevant topics, introducing a new non academic hands-on thinking pattern. We intend to create online portal for self-education in order to meet the needs of citizens in obtaining and applying knowledge about european democratic values. The project will complement the traditional legal education and expand the circle of participants in civil society advocacy.

How do you get there?

The editorial mission of the project is to bring complex issues in simple terms. As part of the project it is planned to create the site "Euro Education" and to fill it with educational materials: papers on topical issues ( min. 5 articles per month); free videos (10-15 min) and tests, infographics, surveys (min. 5 per month). The content of the site will cover relevant legal topics conserning eurointegration.
We are going to ask european scientists, lawyers, as well as common citizens to provide their opinion conserning problems of eurointegration, european values and their vision of ukrainian question (min. 5 per month). Our readers would be able to bring up the topics they want to see at the site and vote for the best topic throught social networks.

What is your story?

-

Who are you doing it for?

Due to the fact that the site "Euro education" is an open educational platform, we want to create opportunities for self-development of european youth. The content would be presented in both Ukrainian and English.
