Only together we can build a healthier world. In order to truly function together, we need collaboration to prevail over competition, appreciation over criticism, trust over distrust, love over fear. All this can be learned.
The learning space School Of All Relations (S.O.A.R.) invites young adults to prepare themselves to do just this.
Empowering the students to face today’s challenges - Europe wide and globally - and to enable them to respond creatively is the key mission of the project.
The S.O.A.R being located in Greece,a hot spot of national crisis and first receiving country of thousands of refugees coming to Europe, creates a heightened awareness for the need of a system change. The S.O.A.R program stands for this shift and enables young people to make a significant contribution towards it as young change-makers who know how to take decisions for the common-good,to live in community and to take their lives in their own hands despite high youth unemployment and social unrest
Ultimately, the aim is to endow society and the planet with efficient and creative young people, able
to listen and to cooperate, sensitive to environmental challenge, in a word, conscious, common good
oriented leaders. If selected different in a year from now on would be that the world is richer because of the graduates taking action in world. Furthermore the School receives acknowledgement and the possibility to improve the school amenities through the financial award.
The S.O.A.R reaches this aim by providing a 6 months residental program for young adults aged 18-25 with a curriculum that includes: conflict resolution; non-violent communication; self-enquiry; team building; participatory leadership; group facilitation and project development.
There is a strong focus on inner growth and the unfolding of inherent potential. The intension of the School Of All Relations is for each individual to experience that his or her voice, thought and action counts and makes a difference in co-creating a world that serves the common good.
S.O.A.R. is a 6-months educational program for young adults,18 to 25, from all social backgrounds. Young Europeans and students from all over the world are invited to enroll. Participation at international youth conferences, networks, connections to similar programs and word-by-mouth are media to make S.O.A.R. known. A partnership with other organizations for EVS is intended. An alumni platform for graduate exchange of information, know-how, services and support will be set up.
Unique to the School Of All Relation is the chance for young adults to truly experience and internalize European core values particularly through living and learning together. In addition truly unique is an educational setting which provides crucial learning for peaceful co-existence of human kind which the conventional education system hitherto does not provide.
