Charitable Fund "MagneticOne.org"
We aim to change the educational system of Ukraine. Therefore, on the basis of the school curriculum we create a short video lessons for elementary school students. We believe that it will help teachers and parents in a simple and entertaining way to present a material to the children.
After checking educational videos for Ukrainian children on the Internet, our team found out that there are no video tutorials with the content in Ukrainian language for primary school children. Taking into consideration this situation we came up with the idea to create our own educational videos in Ukrainian language. For example, like KhanAcademy videos are.
We want to change Ukrainian educational system by creating a resource of video tutorials in Ukrainian language. These video tutorials are made by our team of highly-skilled and creative teachers from all over Ukraine. Teachers can use them as supplementary material to explain the topics in the classroom. They briefly uncovered a topic of the main subjects of the school curriculum. Videos are created with the help of the latest applications that allow to make good-looking picture and clear sound.
Every day the team of Charitable fund “Magneticone.org”, our teachers and volunteers from all over the Ukraine are working very hard in order to succeed our goal. To do this we create a short video tutorials for elementary school students. By the end of 2016 we plan to create 5,000 new video lessons, gain the support of 1,000 partners and catch the interest of 1,000 Ukrainian schools.
Our project is focused on the students of elementary school, students from the occupied territories and children with a special needs, who aren’t able to visit school. They can visit our “Virtual school” channel on YouTube and easily continue their learning process, just watching our videos online. These video tutorials can also be very useful for teachers and parents, since they can help them explain educational material.
These videos will help children better realize educational and additional material. The virtual School’s videos can be used by pupils from occupied territories of Ukraine and from territories where there are no schools at all. Since all video tutorials are free, everyone can download them into its computer and look over and over again if necessary. ‘Virtual school’ helps parents to teach their children without making much efforts.
