Values and the People Foundation
Our mission is to show the true meaning of history, values and heritage. The stories of the people are the true historical and cultural heritage and we want to present them, in order to make people proud of their kin. We will start with Bulgaria, but we plan to expand our idea in every country.
For us values are the greatest legacy that anyone can get. We all grew up with the mindset "Know your Homeland to love it", but many do not even have imagined how much we might learn while exploring. Our goal is to raise the public awareness of the cultural and historical heritage and human values at national, European and international level. We believe that we are different from others, because we focus on the values and true relationships between people. We want to show the true nature of every country and nation the way it should be - more humane and understanding. Part of our success is to transfer the idea to others. We are absolutely sure that showing Europe in Project 208’s way is the way people will be happy to explore and to be proud with the heritage and values of their nation.
A true successful outcome of the project will be its duplication all around Europe. We plan to produce this initial 208 stories about places in Bulgaria till end of 2015. We will share the completed stories throughout the whole year. We developed unique process for doing the stories in same quality way. All the stories will be available in free online guide on the page (project208.org) and mobile application will be made with GPS routes and storyteller. Travelers will be able to tag on the places and receive presents. All this as know-how we want to duplicate in any European country and we will be happy to partner-up with local organizations or people in order to have it spread faster.
We will visit the places. Shoot video, pictures and speak with people. Then we will post produce this and share it with people. We will share through FB and with the help of Google AdWords (we received Google Ad Grant for 10 000$ per month advertising budget) we will spread the stories. We will gladly accept co-authorship based on our processes, so the places and countries to be spread faster. The 208 stories will be told in 2015, so in 2016 we will focus on scalability model and integration in schools.
