Development Principles NGO
Europe is so diverse and culturally rich! Killing several rabbits by collecting potential amateur actors, experts of performing arts and counselors in one community and giving them an opportunity to explore the cultures of Europe and share their own. Ahead to the Personal Development is our slogan!
Yerevan, Armenia, selection of cities is an integral part of the project
We wanna a better Europe!
We believe that it directly depends from our personal development, as it affects also our family, friends and other members of European community. The personal development is a synergy of the mix of knowledge, experience and communication. We would like to receive an opportunity to experience that synergy, upgrade and share the European values.
We believe that in 21th century one should not solely travel to the main touristic attractions as it does not link European cultures as strongly as the constant virtual tour with the help of this project and the personal experience gained through the amateur theatre.
The cultural diversity of Europe is a huge advantage that we have no other choice but to use in a most convenient and innovative ways possible.
In quantitative terms - 4 cross-cultural amateur performances will be presented in different art styles.
In qualitative terms - a community which will have opportunity to discuss, to perform, and share cultural experiences; promote the intellectual tourism; boost the economy; promote the level of open-mindedness, tolerance and democratic values; develop cross-geographical, generational, linguistic and cultural collaborations. Our aim is to establish a best-practice, which will be further self-sustainable, and participants will pay for the services they get (e.g. crowd funding for those works which are not translated yet). The aim of this project is to connect all those that want to learn and those, who have knowledge and as a result to create unique cross-cultural products.
1. Promoting the integration to the community through the creation of the website, its promotion throughout the partner network and recruitment of the potential amateur actors, experts of performing arts and counselors.
2. Discussions and selection of 4 themes/performances
As the project is a start-up we think that for the first year 4 performances will be chosen, however there are no limits, as playing is a creative process and as such has no boundaries.
3. Implementation and presentation
Either will be performed in front of the public both in Armenia and abroad or the performance can be shot and disseminated.
The birth date of this new category of the amateur theatre will be celebrated each year during the annual awards for the best performances.
Funding requested from Advocate Europe
We are open for collaboration and we will be looking for partnerships throughout Europe. We believe that the community we want to develop through the integration of various individuals already virtually exist and it consists of us! Art is a lifestyle, not a profession! P.S. Meet you guys at “stage”!
