To advocate Europe one needs to know and experience it. Per se..! is an open air documentary film and photography festival in Berlin- the hub of diversity and liberality. It unites diverse peoples in one place to hear about
the recognized pressing issues.
Per se..! conveys the unique sense of European romanticism that is so often transformed into reality via the set of values that societies have shaped by the inspiration of the freedom and unity of Europe.
The festival is a catalyst of inspiration for change and advancement, action and development. Per se..! offers a retrospective look at the ways issues have been treated and solved, and challenges its visitor for new approaches and takes of the issues around.
It is open-air, with a photo exhibition and film screenings that will fully engage the audience in the aesthetic and contextual sense. Per se..! is international, open to every one. It offers a comprehensive view of the tasks and responsibilities that different actors of the society still need to assume.
Two main factors are viewed as impulse for our initiative, our personal-professional motivations and our will to pay this unique opportunity forward to those who are still to come and use the portal of Per Se.. festival for making their voices heard by the international public.
This initiative is an attempt to apply sustainability in our professional careers; we are a wonderful group of cultural workers with diverse backgrounds, yet all of us interested to advance in their careers. These facts will support us to raise the festival to a higher level of project performance. Most importantly, we live near Berlin, a city of opportunities for cultural and professional self-expression, liberality and diversity.
So why not combine these resources for the common good!
Next to the registration of the Per Se..! Festival, final contextual design of the festival, negotiations and final agreements on partnerships with proper delegation of responsibilities, formation of the selection committee and departments of the head office will be set up.
Following that, a timeline of actions will include
1. a call for documentary film and photography submissions by documentarians from all over Europe, (third countries included)
2. Arrangements on the venue, which will be mainly done in partnership with Berlin Partner,
3. Call for volunteers
4. Fundraising and PR campaigns
5. Actual implementation of the festival around the months of May-July based on the internal project plan.
6. Reporting and publication of a festival catalogue.

Many of our team members and me, having personally participated in and initiated social initiatives in our own communities back home, we are convinced of the need to bring the festival into realization, which will help us better understand our tasks of today and our future.
