KOFF is a program that promotes the participation and inclusion of refugees in Europe's today society through audiovisual arts & cultural exchange.
Refugees will learn technical skills such as filming or editing, as well as how to create a script or improve their language skills by creating subtitles or viewing material in the languages they are learning. The participants will follow all the different processes involved in organizing the festival, from its creation over to the final screenings.
The event will mainly take part in Greece. But workshops and collaborations will be across Europe.
This projects facilitates the participation of refugees into the society through the film making and audiovisual arts.
Besides, the workshops and festival includes the screening and discussion of contents advocating for human rights and democracy.
Better inclusión of refugees in local communities through joint participation in workshops and events. Refugees and locals will have also developed audio visual arts and film making skills.

During the past two years I have been working in education, cultural activities, and integration of refugees in Europe, especially in Greece and Spain.
I have realised how powefull are audiovisual arts in education and their effectiveness to raise awareness and democracy values in Europe.
The main target group are Refugees across Europe, in particular in Greece. NGOs working across Europe with refugees and local education and leisure centers will be invited or partnered with to participate and develop a network of education through audiovisual arts.
Potential Partners, availability of resources and experience from similar projects.
