A new immersive engagement technique which allows participants to empathise with nature by removing one sense in order to focus the other senses
Blackpool, UK, Banja Luka, BiH, Torino di Sangro, Italia
This is an easily transferable idea which due to its learning-by-doing method can be replicated in any country and with any group. The videos produced as part of this project will convey the method and benefits of the project and will aim to spread these techniques as far and wide as possible. With its great mix of cultures combined with a burning desire to bring about positive change Europe is the perfect place to start this chain reaction.
Beneficaries will meet the future in a more environmentally aware and confident way. They will have a increased knowledge of gardening combined with greater empathy for nature which will allow them to be more creative in their interaction with people and environment. They will have an appreciation and respect for people of other ages, abilities and from other countries. Their experience of Jedi Gardener Training will give them an enthusiasm which they will want to pass on to others. Children will have an important influence over their parents decisions concerning the environment. After this project there will be the potential for the involvement of other countries through social media.
