Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jelah, Bosnia and Herzegovina
We live in a country where people say that we are multicultural and multinational. Bosnia has 2 entities (RS, FBiH) and one district, 3 constituent nations and national Minorities. The mere fact that none of these elements work with each other, they don’t have friendly relationships and joint initiatives, regardless of whether it is about political or simple human behavior. We want to show others beyond the borders of BiH hence European countries, how we truly are and we can and need to be multiethnic multicultural and multinational because people from Belgium Serbia Montenegro and other European countries will come to us and affirm differences as a fortune and value and not as a reason for fighting. BiH is not a member of the European Union but that is not a reason not brbring the Eurpean
The goal of this project is the affirmation of differences as a fortune and value. Young people will through activities and educations learn about the history of the home countries of the participants, exchange experience and everyone will be a big living library of differences which will talk with each other and get rid of the stereotype and prejudice of things they don’t know. The results will be immediately visible. During their first meeting, young people have to talk with each other on different languages. Young people will create new contacts and they will change their way of thinking. Therefore they will help people from their home countries to think more positively.
The project is designed from multiples parts:
1. Rearranging the space of ToPeeR. This job will be done by the young people of Doboj. With join forces they will do something useful for themselves and for their community. Together they will form and create space for ICCE.
2.The first activity is the arrival of 16 young people from Belgium and 1o from Serbia who will be in Doboj for 14 days. During their a 5 day long camp will be held where 40 young people from Bosnia will join theme.
3. The second camp will be in August in Jelah. Young people from ex Yugoslavian countries can participate. The participants will go through workshops about music which will help to create a connection between them. They will help with organizing the “Rastok fest XIII” where they will participate too.
