Idea pitch

Making a small social project can be hard. Not only you need time and effort to organize things, but also some money to get a venue or some technical stuff. What if you could offer your idea to people like you, concerned about the same cause, to support it and so make it happen?

Why does Europe need your idea?

In the EU there're many public funds available for social initiatives as well as many corporations are willing to support good causes. However those institutions require long-term commitments and detail plans which young first-time organizers may yet unable to provide. We've seen lots of examples of crowdfunding kickstarting interesting ideas to live. Those opportunities however are not yet available in the small scale in Europe. Existing crowdfunding resources aimed at commercial ideas with high financial goals, so small initiatives are lost there and don't get enough attention. That's why we think there's a demand for a place where small ideas aimed at social causes can get support.

What is your impact?

We want to help other activists like ourselves to make great independent events to support their ideas and causes and be able to get other interested people involved to support their projects and actually make them happen together. If the idea is so great, the support outgrows the ask, we want to get this money to be spend for likewise charities, who work on long-term projects and gather donations on a constant basis. The profit is making the advertised idea happen.
By doing this inexperienced youth organizers will get their first practice on putting up a project together and getting support for it. We want to help people who are passionate about their idea to push it forward and start contributing to the society in the way they see is required.

How do you get there?

1. We want to create a website where young activist would post their idea descriptions and ask for amounts less than 5000 Euro to get their ideas happen. We already have experience with online donations to make them work flawlessly in the EU.
2. We want to gather some advice from more experienced organizers on how to put up events together and offer it to our audience.
3. We want to get public organization involved and support the ideas they find appealing to help with resources like venues, tech gear, consumables, etc.
