Idea Sketch

Idea pitch

Europeans have a common interest in helping refugees/migrants create better conditions in their countries of origin to stop & reverse the exodus. Why do refugees & we Europeans have to accept brutal, corrupt regimes that make life unbearable for millions of people? The EU has to become more effective.Let us work with refugees to reallocate some of the billions paid for hosting refugees in Europe & transit countries to helping them transform their countries of origin, thereby also improving the EU.

Where will your idea take place?

Countries with many refugees, in Europe & beyond, focusing on situations with good chance of success

Why does Europe need your idea?

The reform of democracy needs visionary, courageous& capable individuals who are a shining example in the responsible use of rights that democracy gives.I’m ready to give up any such rights,at least temporarily, should I ever use them irresponsibly. This project mobilises people who share this position

What is your impact?

A voluntary reversal of the flow of refugees and migrants to Europe as a result of improved conditions in the countries of origin.

How do you get there?

Through an agile approach, leveraging each individual's talents & preferenfces, using all institutional, unorthodox & innovative resources, leveraging powerful digital tools. I am confident that my skills & experience (founded & managed a British not-for-profit organisation that worked with refugees in Azerbaijan & Ukraine; founded & run software & consultancy companies in Germany & UK since 2003) will enable me to organise everything needed for this project to be successful.

What is your story?

One day we all have to leave this world, I want to have left a lasting positive heritage before I go ;).

Who are you doing it for?

For those people, be they in Europe or elsewhere, who deserve more than they have.
