Idea pitch

Have you ever imagined a place where all change-makers gather to create ideas, connections and opportunities, aiming to make Europe a better place for the future generations? And how can this be done, better than on a festival where the best European NGOs create solution for a better Europe?

Where will your idea take place?

Dortmund, Germany

Why does Europe need your idea?

We see EFON to be a future factory of ideas who will develop the role of civil society for a change that Europe needs to be promoted with all its' values.

European Festival Of NGOs will be the very first and unique event where NGOs will develop new ideas by exchanging knowledge at the same time.

Our dream for this festival is to become a tour, throughout all Europe, to absorb all the ideas Europe needs for a better and faster development.

What is your impact?

EFON will create possibilities and ideas for NGOs representing EU and non-EU countries, that will evolve into real project applications with mutual partnership and motivation.
With future cross-border project ideas, EU grant opportunities will have a high number of application from the new networks created during this festival.
With or without the application for EU grant proposals, all participant NGOs will create a new calendar of workshops with all the intensive topics that will be developed during the festival.
EFON will show that NGOs with different backgrounds, can unite their motivation and knowledge to create development for future European generations.

How do you get there?

1.Opening application for NGOs from all Europe. The application form will include a short CV of the organisation, a motivation letter to attend EFON, and two short workshop descriptions they plan to hold for each subject (humanitarian support and volunteering; youth and/or women empowerment; European culture development).

2.Announcement of participant NGOs(20 countries, each one represented by one NGO) .

3.Opening application for 15 volunteers from Ruhr region of Germany, and individuals from all Europe who want to attend these intensive workshops sessions.

4.Implementing the festival in Dortmund, Germany.

5.Follow-up of festival, by: urging the participant NGOs to put their ideas into life with mutual collaboration; and proposing the developed European platforms to EU and CE.
