Europe faces many problems today. It is sometimes much easier to find solutions to those problems, for the ones with fresh insight. So, we planned to organize 24 discussions with political scientists; international relations specialists; mass media editors; psychologists; MPs; lawyers, economists; CSOs on 4 topics-key challenges Europe faces today – migration, terrorism, Brexit, right-wing populism. This will help to collect new ideas that may contribute to finding solutions to those problems.
Various groups of specialists will discuss 4 of the main challenges Europe faces today. As a result of 24 discussions 24 policy papers will be developed including proposals of solutions to the problems discussed. And those proposals will be our answers to the question “What if we took the stage?”.
The 24 policy papers including proposals of solutions to the problems will be submitted to the relevant European structures, state and non-stat structures of European countries. And if the responsible bodies consider our suggestions and implement them, this will be a successful outcome.
Discussions with 6 groups of specialists on the 4 key challenges Europe faces today will be held. During each discussion a guest speaker from one of European countries will be invited. The output of each discussion will be a PP including interesting proposals. The 24 PPs will be submitted to relevant state bodies of European countries and European structures. Our project is different because various specialists will approach to the issues with fresh insight suggesting solutions to the problems.
Armenia is part of Europe and the problems the Europe faces today can’t overpass us. In the current globalized world the problems can’t concern only one country; the world needs to cooperate and jointly overcome them. So, we think our project can provide a fresh insight to the identified problems.
As long as the project idea focuses on the problems Europe faces currently, the project beneficiaries will be the Europeans in general, citizens of European countries whose everyday life is affected by migration crisis, by terrorism, by right-wing populism, by Brexit and their consequences etc.
