TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL-GREECE (TI-GREECE)
Core European values have been globally recognized by modern world as among the ones of highest standard. However, nowadays they face multiple threats, which undermine their essence. TI-Greece strongly believes that it is necessary to focus efforts also on familiarizing young generations with those values. Through an animated online game, children aged 6-10 will have the opportunity to be introduced to the history of Europe and its core values.
The project aims at a bottom-up approach by focusing on youngsters’ education on core European values. Through the use of the online videogame, children will have the opportunity to realize that the way they think, (inter)act, decide and engage has an impact at both personal and social level.
Our goal is that this animated online videogame becomes an international hit among children, just like the world-known commercial videogames, with which children become passionate to the degree of addiction.
The proposed videogame shall include an introductory animation video, which will highlight the current core European values. Then, children shall be led to a double-choice situational judgement questions, where they will be asked to choose the ethical approach. Once they accumulate a certain score, they will be allowed to pass on to the next level of more complex questions, which will inter alia further include situations of everyday life, as affected by EU policies and practices.
TI-Greece, fully shares core European values. The promotion of these values further constitute the core objectives of the work of TI-Greece, which has already published a very successful novel addressed to kids aged 6-10, promoting these ideals.
