Students fight Plagiarism and Corruption aspects

Who is behind this?

Idea Sketch

Idea pitch

We design a 5-day workshop programme for up to 25 young students led by experts from the academic, political and civil society sectors on best practices in the fight of corruption and plagiarism. Trained in project management, students are empowered to conduct own projects in their universities and communities.

Where will your idea take place?

The workshops are planned in Berlin, conducted in Kyiv with participants from all Ukrainian regions.

Why does Europe need your idea?

Social capital is key for a functioning democracy and the pursue of European values. Transparency and high quality of education are essential to empower people to participate in the political process and become an active part of civil society.

What is your impact?

If the participants' community implements 10 local student's projects contributing to transparency and good governance in the Ukrainian regions, we would view it as an success of our input. The results of the project will be presented in a scientific publication at Freie Universität Berlin.

How do you get there?

Our workshop combines the newest academic findings, knowledge of political change makers and civil society representatives on the topic of transparency and good governance. We stay in touch with our participants all the way, guide them through their entire project implementation process, and connect them to leading civil society organizations both in Ukraine and the EU. The publication will line out our findings during the project and provide guidelines for follow-ups.

What is your story?

We’d like to see Ukraine come closer to the European Union family. We see a great potential in the Ukrainian social capital that should be encouraged.

Who are you doing it for?

Our target group consists of young students above 18 - who participate in civil society activities - from all over Ukraine with our participants being the change agents at their respective universities and communities. The students will create the basis for a new transparent and integrated society.

What do you need from the Advocate Europe community?

We could use a brainstorming in workshop methods. What are the latest approaches in group works and what special topics would you expect as a participant?
