The event focuses on digital works that shift boundaries of narratives and visual arts by using e.g. interaction, immersion, community-based creation of content. Program consists of: workshops (selected professionals of various fields explore the use new media in the service of democracy and open society); and interactive shows for general public (presentation of projects that document challenges that Europe is facing today, such as forced migration or the crisis of democracy).
Participants explore how to tell engaging stories for contemporary viewers who can be partners in the creative process (Internet, mobile deices).
The public learns about projects that allow them to be engaged.
Ideas developed and projects shown raise awareness of issues that matter for Europeans.

Module 1: Co-creator as participant
Series of lectures (guests present their tools and artistic practices) and workshops
(participants work in groups on prototypes of interactive stories with help of international mentors).
30 participants selected upon internationally promoted open-call.
Module 2: Participant as co-creator
Live presentations of projects for general public. Opportunity to encourage viewers to participate in the process of storytelling and to build audience awarness.
New forms of narratives: i-docs, VR, AR, 360° films, cross-media / transmedia, participatory projects, the Internet of Things (IoT) etc. have great potential in engaging the audience in creative process and social change but can also be menace of manipulation and threat to freedom.
Representatives of creative sector: artists, filmmakers, journalists, designers, web developers, programmers, new media creators (incl. students), who care about the surrounding world and would like to develop their skills in interactive / transmedia storytelling.
Subjects for projects potentially to be developed during workshops. Possible partnerships and promotion - also out of audio-visual sector (to connect activists and NGOs with storytellers). Financing.
