Progress of Gyumri Civil Society Development Centre NGO
Project goal is to promote the participation of the Shirak Region population in public policy and decision-making through training of civilian journalists, meeting-discussions, press conferences, online broadcasts, to create a culture of dialogue and a unifying working environment for the representatives of civil society contributing to the process of democracy creating and promoting a cooperative culture, to promote freedom of expression and pluralism.

Media and civil society have a central role in public awareness raising and oversight of public and political processes promoting accountable and transparent policies by the authorities, public participation in the decision-making process and public policy.
The Dialogue Media Center , established within the framework of the project, will unite the potential of civil society and the media field and will ensure their participation in the identification and solution of key political, public issues. This will also be a platform based on democratic values
Create a Dialogue Media Center will be established, where about 40 discussions and 10 press conferences will be broadcast live on a weekly bases. Panelists included will be representatives of local governments, CSOs, state, diplomatic and international structures, individuals- activists. 10 training courses of TV broadcasting and citizen journalism will be conducted for 15 active citizen journalists. They will also conduct and cover events taking place in DMC which will be broadcast live.
NGO was founded with the goal of promoting civil society and democratic development through high-quality television production on issues of human rights, rule of law, freedom of speech, and government accountability. I am the Director of the organization, I am journalist.
The project beneficiaries include representatives of local, state and legislative bodies, diplomatic and international institutions and civil society, individuals-activists, Internet users. Direct beneficiaries: about 1000 people, indirect beneficiaries- Internet users: about 100,000.
