Idea pitch

Do you know the clickbait quizzes such as "IIf You Know 12/17 Of These Movie Quotes, You're A True '90s Kid" or "Can You Go 7 For 7 On This Food Name Quiz?"? We want to take this concept and use it to teach people about democracy, freedom and society. We will create funny, but still educative quizzes about important current social issues and common knowledge about democracy and freedom with the possibility to win prizes.

Why does Europe need your idea?

We want to use viral potential of quizzes with clickbait headlines and funny and interesting question to teach about importance of democratic principles, how society works, why freedom is important and current important issues.

What is your impact?

We hope to reach measurable effect in the change of opinions of the quizzes' participants, mostly about the issues involved (democracy, freedom, society changes etc.)

How do you get there?

Online place is fast and full of information and to catch the attention of people is not easy. Clickbait articles (including quizzes) has worked pretty well and they have viral potential. The quizzes will have a competitive factor where the participants has to do at least half of the quizzes to have chance to win a prize. To measure the change of opinion we will use questionnaire sent by email or target through Google ads.

What is your story?

We cautiously see the rise of extremists opinions and parties not only in Slovakia and Central Europe, but also in other countries of EU. Despite the importance of democracy, the current generation doesn't recognize the importance and we want to help to change that.

Who are you doing it for?

Our target group is mainly younger audience (18-35), because this age group is very active online and also already has voting rights. To challenge the views and opinions of this age group is the hardest task for our society today.

What do you need from the Advocate Europe community?

We welcome a feedback about the idea generally and also suggestions what might work in this area with our target group. Any tips for media and business partners is welcome.
