DELI – Space for creative activity
The partnership has been established in order to jointly tackle social innovation and economic empowerment of endangered groups, as well as to locally boost entrepreneurship and creative industries.
CSI aims to serve society’s most pressing needs by promoting social entrepreneurship and supporting social businesses through creative workshops, training, coaching, mentoring and academic research. It consists of a buzzing, creative and energetic co-working space with a meeting place where academia, public institutions, businesses and non-profit organizations are given the opportunity to work with social innovations focused on solving society’s challenges in a new way.
Economic empowerment of endangered and sustainable civil society are crucial for countries with weak democracies, such as Western Balkan countries. CSI will support active citizens and provide equal opportunities to all, especially those who can contribute to better common European future.
The key outcome of this project is a buzzing, creative and energetic co-working space, which will provide core funding and input to the CSI, as a platform for engagement and cooperation of all local stakeholders.
* We will establish first co-working space in Montenegro with a small meeting room, a conference/training room for 20-25 people and a meet-up space for around 50 participants.
* We will establish Center for Social Innovation (CSI) as separate entity which will manage Social Innovation City (SIC) initiative together with municipal authorities, academia, NGOs...
* CSI will weekly organize trainings, workshops and other public events, alone and with other stakeholders from the community.
We strongly believe that social entrepreneurship is the best model for social integration, community development and economic empowerment of those in need. With support from our partners from www.deli.rs we plan to replicate their co-working model and to upgrade it with social innovations.
Young people, social entrepreneurs, freelancers, people in creative industries, CSOs, local authorities, academia, business community
We would like to receive advice and feedback related to social innovation and social business hubs, as well as proposals for potential partnerships and replication of successful models. Also, we see several similar initiatives on this Call, and we would be more than interested to share experience.
