Idea Sketch

Idea pitch

The idea is to encourage people from different social origins, culture and backgrounds to sit together and co-design messages and ideas in the form of campaigns against the impression that power is held in the hands of a few, against each form of lack of transparency, lack of involvement, human rights violations, etc. They will do so following an easy and effective process based on design thinking, a collaborative, human-centered approach that actively engages multiple and diverse perspectives.

Where will your idea take place?

The trainings will be in Ukraine (Odessa) and Montenegro (Herceg-Novi). Ideas will travel across EU

Why does Europe need your idea?

“Campaign for democracy” reminds ourselves that Europeans do not just have very similar problems, but share common values. And it is much easier to find common grounds to discuss about possible solutions for European urgent issues while engaging in creative processes.

What is your impact?

People will be empowered to co-discover and co-create messages to promote democracy in our countries. 3 powerful campaigns will be launched and promoted across Europe.

How do you get there?

2 trainings will happen in Ukraine and Montenegro (15-20 participants).
Training 1 (5 days) – Participants, divided in multinational teams and guided by facilitators, will select the topic of their campaign. Special guests and speakers will share insights and suggestions.
Training 2 (5 days) - The teams will proceed prototyping their ideas and will come up with the final products.
3 campaigns will be funded and promoted online and offline (through physical exhibition in different EU cities).

What is your story?

We are a team of people from different countries and different backgrounds (service design, research, social innovation, art and culture) who work for a future where people get involved in our society, in our countries and all over Europe. We meet in Warsaw during a fruitful Advocate Europe camp.

Who are you doing it for?

We want to inspire people and create with them pieces of art with a cause. We want to involve everyone who is motivated by the idea of promoting democracy in Europe, no matter what is the geographic, cultural or professional background.

What do you need from the Advocate Europe community?

We will be grateful for ideas, experience and inspirations from everyone in the network. Please share your thoughts and get involved, we need all of you!
