Refugees, migrants and locals will prepare a series of their own social actions or events. This will be succeeded through the above workshops designed to operate on a multi-level basis:
• Multilanguage games
• Political, social and environmental education for social inclusion in Europe
• Communication skills development
• Group Building
• Artistic Expression and Creation (comics, theatre, dance etc.)
• Social Economy and enterprise

Why does Europe need your idea?

Getting people to speak of their vision, to realize their common values, work together giving creative solution to their commons problems. Learn to work as groups, decide, advocate, and realize their rights and potential. Make people social active, self-reliant and together strengthen social solidar

What is your impact?

Social visibility of the groups of people from different backgrounds and language that will work permanent, grow and network. Keep involved and active on social and community issues feeling part of the European society. Try through social economy to make jobs that besides their benefit will have so

How do you get there?

Fusion Experiential Workshops on the “Society we Envision.
Then Groups decide on the project they will work on.
Workshops preparing the groups for the actions or events decided.
Follow up Workshops and evaluation to keep the team motivated and working more permanent.
The idea is an Experiential “school” that works together on what the refugee (language, job) and the society (European democratic values, integration) wants and invites them for active social intervention as a group.

What is your story?

Working at Alkyone Refugee Day Center of the Ecological Movement of Thessaloniki, we feel the need of a “school” for refugees. It is important together with the language and job to get refugees involved with the European democratic values and culture. Locals to learn more of their new fellow citizen

Refugees, migrants, youth, local unemployed, handicapped, minority group members, local in general

What do you need from the Advocate Europe community?

Advice and comments from experience from fusion workshops and especially with refugees. Good practice in social entrepreneurship All kind of advice, comments or feedback are welcome
