Wear a story! Immigrants deserve a better image and more encouragement. Imagine a world where migration is not just tolerated, but celebrated! We tell success stories of Immigrants and bring them into society through elegant scarves. They tell stories. You wear them!
Vienna, Vienna, Austria
On 1 January 2013 the foreign population of the EU-27 was 20.4 million while the foreign-born population was 33.5 million.
Now, imagine a Europe without discrimination! Can you? Is it possible?
Yes, but us as young entrepreneurs, we need to work with those who are already big. We need to use the big names, the personalities, the VIPs in order to capture attention. Europe needs more dialogue, more examples of success stories, it needs to create more tangible awareness. We need to empower ourselves, as immigrants. We need to enable people to have a meaningful life, free of prejudice. We are Europeans, we are not immigrants. We should challenge anyone who says we do not belong. We are all Europe. Together.
We want to change the negative perception around immigrants by showcasing positive examples from society. One out of 3 companies are founded by immigrants. Every second Viennese has a migration background. What we want to achieve is acceptance and understanding for foreigners and their value add to society and economy. We actively show the beauty of multiculturalism, the advantages of diversity in a society and give faces and names to these people. Because we are here, we do good, but people do not hear about it enough. We tell these stories and promote immigrants. Because we need more PR. Each person that wears a scarf, wears a story and once they wear it, they tell it further. That is our goal: to create positive dialogue about immigrants. Through creativity. Not politics.
- increase the number of people and stories to promote
-increase the limited number of scarves per story, in order to increase volume and profits
-create a symbol for Celebrating Migration, one scarf that can be worn all throughout Europe. One scarf that unites all! Whoever wears it, you send the message: "I love diversity".
-through networks, VIPs and personalities acting as multipliers and supporters of immigrants
-through the power of the media. Gather a team of journalists who constantly write about the immigrants featured on Younited Cultures
