It will create 4 sets of personal knowledge e-tools for children (7-12 years), based on 4 original narrative scenarios. Children will be placed in a position to investigate his own personality and experiences in relation to literary characters in a challenging and creative teaching experience.

In Romania, the use of classic books, handbooks and children's access to culture and education, especially for vulnerable groups from rural areas are facing a real crisis. Only 45% of city dwellers more than 20% of rural residents and children read at least one book a year and over 60% of students do not read a book outside of school textbooks. In order to improve the cultural education of children, we propose the development of games and personal knowledge questionnaires derived from original narrative scenarios and use them as support the personal development of school children between 7-12 years.
This project is related to re-starting children's education based on a qualitative literature. We propose a creative approach of education, with the support of technology. Quality literature is a generator, recovery and multiplier of core values at Romanian and European level. Although the annual budget for educational expenses for a student in Romania is EUR 1,600 (one of the lowest in the EU), we’ll initiate a series of complex educational resources accessible in terms of costs. Using literary productions of young talented authors and bringing them to a higher level of interactivity through IT, we’ll create a new market, focussed on original creations and digital inclusion, favorable to children’s intellectual and emotional development.
A1 – Assessment of children needs regarding literature knowledge and personal development, establish the common profile of the audience we are addressing the educational tools to collect structured information from schools and parents, to identify the skills and abilities required, to elaborate a relevant profile; A2 - Structure and adapt a common curricula for children between 7-12 years (literature/personal development); A3 – Develop/adapt the tools according to the profile identified in A1 using the results from A2/ Develop an evaluation tool in order to assess the learning curve at the end of the learning experience; A4 – Create and test the original e-tools to put in place the selected literary works, which meet most the aims of the project; A5 – Exchange of best practices;
I would like to know if exist some similar initiative in other countries and if the governements from these countries decided to support in a specific way this kind of initiative , which aims put together original literary works of some relevant national authors and eskills in educational aims.
