New generation is for equality and against fascism!

Where will your idea take place?

Weingarten, Germany, Lille, France, Warsaw, Poland

Why does Europe need your idea?

Project realization will promote:
- integration and improvement of understanding of youth from Germany, France, Poland and Ukraine;
- prevention of performance of fascism among youth;
- deepening of understanding of the term “equality”;
- development of tolerance to those who differ, representatives of other cultures and traditions;
- rise of personal responsibility for Europe’s destiny and peacekeeping.

What is your impact?

Awareness of involved youth about fascism infeasibility; more profound and balanced understanding of equality; strengthening of interest to own family history among involved youth; widening of worldview and acceptance of others’ points of view; understanding and acceptance of world variety and complexity; understanding of necessity to receive information from different sources; formation of personal responsibility for peacekeeping; non-admittance of renewal of fascist ideas. We hope that in one year project participants will keep an open mind, have more critical attitude to information they get and will know more about their relatives and ancestry, improve personal responsibility for Europe’s destiny.

How do you get there?

It is planned: 1) to involve actors of student theatre and school theatre studio in preparation of a performance related to events of the WWII; 2) to show the performance to youth and veterans of the WWII in Weingarten, Lille and Warsaw; 3) to organize meetings with youth in mentioned cities to discuss perception of the WWII, understanding of equality; 4) to interview youth of host cities about perception of the WWII, attitude to fascism and understanding of equality; 5) to conduct content-analysis of literature about the WWII in the libraries of partner universities, to compare indicators of its demand and use; 6) to conduct a project diary in social networks; 7) to organize a press-conference in Kharkiv after returning to Ukraine; 8) to create video- and audio-book on project results.
