We aim to introduce a European approach to road safety through a change in minds of Ukrainians on issues of pedestrian’s (and other road users) active safety.

Today Ukraine is on the way of integration into the European Union. Our project brings the moral precepts of the Ukrainians to European standards. We believe that in the light of the preparation for integration to the European Community, the issues of people's attitude to their own safety and the safety of others should be treated equally. And work on it should begin now.
Impact is made on public mind concerning the formation of an informed perception of road safety issues and the consideration of the possibility of increasing of all road users’ active safety (and easiness of its implementation).
In the project area pedestrian safety is increased at night time and in poor visibility conditions (rain, snow, fog) owing to application of reflective accessories which were distributed to each pupil.
"Notable lessons" are organized in all schools, which participate in the Project.
Reflective accessories are made by Ukrainian manufacturer on the Project request for each pupil of enrolled schools.
European approaches to road safety is introduced .
A year later, the project participants will have an idea of active safety on the road.
1. To organize the event (conference or round table) with the participation of national and possibly international project partners and the target group.
2. To conduct the "Notable lessons" with pupils, where in a form that is well remembered by children the basic rules of the road are repeated with a gradual justification of IMPORTANCE of pedestrians’ visibility, where kids put themselves in the place of pedestrians and drivers.
3. To give each young pedestrian and teacher the reflective accessory that will promote the better learning and practical implementation of new knowledge.
4. To give with light reflectors booklets for parents of each child who participated in the "Notable lesson" to spread this information to the family and encourage adults to be more careful on the road and to se
